Derrick has been my trainer for almost a year. This is the longest I’ve stuck with a training plan in years. I’ve gotten so much stronger and more confident in everything I do. He works on balance, movement and strength. He has shown me how to lift weights properly and my sciatica nerve pain plus overall stiffness in gone now. It’s a very motivating environment and I feel very comfortable for being an older person. I highly recommend it. 👌
Hands down the BEST – trainers, gym, and community. Kayla is an amazing trainer. She not only is dedicated to her clients, but she works with you inside and outside of the gym. In the gym she focuses on your goals, helps push you towards them and ensures you’re getting the best workout (and with proper form). Outside of the gym she is always there – whether you need macro counting help and advice on what foods to eat or if you need a mental pick me up and having a hard day. You won’t regret joining this community! I genuinely am excited to get to the gym and workout every day now thanks to Volition.
April is such a positive influence and amazing trainer! When I began my fitness journey I knew it was important that I feel comfortable with my trainer and not feel intimidated. It’s so easy to go on social media and look for those quick results, but with April she truly educates you on the reason behind the move and which body part this focuses on. She makes sure you’re performing the move in a safe manner and will gently correct your form if needed, and she’ll always push you to do your best! I’ve been working with April for two months and have noticed an increase in energy, an improvement on my mental health, and baby muscle growth! Cannot recommend Volition and April enough!
Derek and his team are truly impressive and present. I trained with Derek (group classes) years ago and really enjoyed it. Life got busy and I found myself in 2021 ready to join something outside of what I do personally to continue forward momentum. His classes focus on what I consider true health and longevity. He can come to each individual on their level even within the group setting, which is key for someone like me. I never feel intimidated or silly to do something awkward or for the first time. Not only are his instructors present and knowledgeable but he has the best people in his classes as peer supports. It’s truly a community of people who care about health. What a great place to grow!!!
